The Blog Disappearing Act
The few reasons I check my blog are to:
1. See if my technorati points had grown a point or two
2. Reply to comments and tags
3. Chat with my online Blog fans
4. Write an article
5. Do whatever changes I want with the widgets and stuff
Well, that is all about the routine stuffs I do. Last Monday, I went online early in the morning and the first thing I opened was my blog and guess what I found out? it was effin GONE!!!
I felt like all my energy was drained in a hungry sink. I asked my boyfriend if is there, by any chance, a way for it to come back. He said I just have to wait because perhaps the site is just doing an upgrade, maintenance, etc. I waited for a day but still no progress. I tried to contact the host where I got my website - www.hyperwebenable.com but his website, that time, was also gone so there is no one who could really help me online except the support system provided by webgator who could only tell me to contact the real owner - not pretty much the help I wanted.
Then I bumped into a co-blogger and my bestfriend Zang in Yahoo Messenger. I asked him the same question about my dilemma. He said that I should by my own website and start all over again because there is only a very thin chance that www.mckhoii.com will come back because I was involved in DOMAIN PARKING and once hyperwebenable has got its profit from the parking, it might never settle its accounts with hostgator.com.
Take note - ALL OVER AGAIN!!! He suggested to make www.mckhoii.net but that sounded like www.mckhoii.shit to me. I wanted my .com website back!
Today, after mastering the feeling of “letting go” of my blogger life, I decided to not open my blog. I have to move on! I opened my email instead and check my inbox where I saw a very familiar address that gave me a sudden gulp of hope - hyperwebenable! Here’s what the email says..

we apologies for the recent problems faces by moving to the dedicated server.
this problem started when i was moving to dedicated server from the shared one.
We really sorry for that server problem.
Now we are up and more powerful with dedicated server.

magback up ka kasi tapos ilipat mo nlang lahat posts mo. i’m still not convinced with that hyperwebenable thing. who knows, pagsikat na to maxado blog mo, sino ang makakabenefit? siya! baka ibenta niya, eh kasi xa may ari. ikaw din ang kawawa.. pero ok na rin to, lalo pat kung marami ka nang napera dito… btw, how’s your SR and PPP sign-up going?
