I was scheduled to go to Nueva Vizcaya right after my review class in Baguio City last Sunday. I had been scheduled for 16 hours of duty in a place that I have never ever been to. The driver fetched me, now with a fortuner, to first go to the big boss’ resthouse in Ambuclao for dinner. I ate sweet and sour tilapia and steamed Baguio beans, had a little chat with Mommy Dalia (my boss’ sister), and prepared for the long journey to Nueva Vizcaya. With my Doidoi’s ipod and my cellphone, I sat on the front seat next to the company driver, Jake. He was kind enough to carry my stuffs and make sure I don’t get strained. Thank you so much!

Bayombong is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. It is the capital municipality of Nueva Vizcaya. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 50,563 people in 10,693 households.

I tried hard to sleep but I just can’t. I guess I was too excited yet anxious about what to expect from the new place. When we arrived, Tita-1 greeted me and lead me to my room. Thank God it had a mini-ref jampacked with my favorite drink, fit n right, and mineral water.

In the morning, Tita-2 joined us. She was the assigned to cook for me and the staff. I must say that I ate good food at Nueva Vizcaya because not only do they have a delicious taro jam, the staff would always ask me what I want to eat. Of course, all my wishes were granted. Fantastic.

Big Boss\' Rest House

My students were silent at first but they were really good. One of them named Lupe shared his talent. He sang “Bukas na lang kita Mamahalin” and “Alone by Celine Dion” in his she-male voice. I had fun with them. I enjoyed my lecture… as always.

On the first day I decided, along with my students’ approval, to do a straight 10-hour lecture and on the second day I only had to teach for 6 hours from 7am-1pm. After the class, Jake and I immediately left for Baguio because I had my MSN class @ Saint Louis University to attend to.

I first went home to see my Doidoi and get my stuffs for class. I went to school only to find out that my teacher cancelled the class. WTF! Well, atleast I have more time to rest for my lecture tomorrow. SLRC Baguio Class C, here I Come! w00t
